Toyota May Have A Hot Version Of The Yaris In The Works - Would You Welcome It Over Here?

With cars such as the Renault Clio, Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 208, Mazda2 and upcoming Honda Jazz, Europe’s subcompact hatchback segment is booming.

Honda also wants a piece of the action with the all-new Yaris, which was revealed only last week, and they could step up their game in the future by launching a hot variant.

These are more for the EU market. Renault has very hot hatches for sale as do many other makers. The Yaris is the WRC platform for Toyota Gazoo rally racing. As it has a motorsports variant it makes sense to make a sporty version.
