The Z needs to target the Mustang/Camaro
The GTR needs to target the Corvette.

Both need much more affordability designed in.

Electrification is the wrong way to go. BEVs are not ready for prime time yet, e.g. the masses. Too long to charge, too short of a range to consider for a cross country road trip and too heavy to keep up with a comparable gasoline-powered vehicle. Not to mention the price of a BEV compared to an equivalent gasoline-powered vehicle is still too expensive and out of reach for the everyday average buyer.

C'mon Nissan, you're overthinking this. Make a simple and competitive product and the market will respond favorably. It's not brain surgery or rocket science.

Nissan will probably think, ponder and cogitate for another few year before they finally decide to update their ancient old sports cars. Then it will take another 3 years to develop the new generation. No rush.....

As a car brand bordering on obscurity and is almost no longer relevant, these two models would not be my focus. The brand needs volume and profit. They have the Leaf, they should have made diverivities of that platform like an CUV or Minivan etc. That would be smart. A new Z-car is not.

Nissan reminds me of a drunk alcoholic who is saying "I've sometime got to stop drinking."

Nissan's product focus is wildly incoherent and I blame their French captors.
