Falling Short In the Segment: Lexus Executive Indicates There Will NOT Be An IS-F Successor

Lexus has suggested it is unlikely a new-age IS F sports sedan will be released.

Ever since Lexus killed off the previous-generation IS F, there has been talk about the possibility of a new one launching. Speaking with Motoring, however, Lexus Australia chief executive Scott Thompson said there are no such plans on the agenda.

Make sense, since it's hard to compete with M3 or C63 without some FI. You don't even see the latter that often in LA

There's an analogy between Japanese and German big 3 - Lexus-MB, Infiniti-BMW, and Acura-Audi. Seems only the first group is thriving.
