Is Toyota Siding With Trump On EPA Controls Because It Is Losing The MPG War?

Toyota should be embarrassed. More work needs to be done on fuel efficiency across the lineup.

All they have to do is add a freaking plug to their hybrids and throw in a few extra cells.

The trump changes will not last long - but Toyota benefited from being the Hybrid leader - and Hybrids are now not selling as well. I do admit that while my company still requires Hybrids for the District managers - they are at best a travel appliance with little character to be compelling other than high MPG. I did like my Malibu Hybrid -which is being phased out - But I would move to a Honda Accord now - if I were still on the road rather than being the owner.
