No Heart Beat Present After Infiniti Sales Plunge 23% In October - Nissan Drops 3.7% From A Year Ago
Nissan Group announced total U.S. sales for October 2019 of 103,563 units, a decrease of 5.8 percent compared to the prior year.

Nissan highlights:

  • Kicks SUV sales set an October record with 3,362 units, up 3 percent.
  • NV200 sales rose to 1,532 units, up 7 percent to achieve an October record.
  • Several models have shown gains in 2019: Kicks (+272 percent), NV commercial van (+25 percent) and NV200 (+1 percent).

Wow. The QX50 is an abject failure in its segment. Every other premium make in its category is selling 4k-6k almost monthly. It really is a bread and butter spot for the premium brands and the fact that Infiniti can't capitalize on it says a lot about the brand perception since the product itself, outside of the CVT, has gotten decent feedback (but not great).

Agreed we need to get Infiniti on the line and inform them their entire management team is fired.

This company was on the right path when the FX SUV and G 35 sedan/coupe came out with those sweeeeeet exhaust notes winning buyers over from German showrooms at the time with very attractive pricing...now they are literally running the brand into the ground.

Sad. I think Infiniti could have been the sexier Nippon offering but they just kept dropping the ball instead. I seriously doubt there will be any comeback at all.

last year new Nissan CEO came said they will sell less cars and more profit with same cars, tell me how it going to work, no quit his job. I have Nissan Infiniti products but company sucks
