Electrification of classic cars is the future for the aftermarket industry and enthusiasts as well keeping older greatly styled cars on the road, more reliable and at less an expense to owners. Make mine a 1966 green Mustang fastback EV that I can drive every day and cross country and never worry about a breakdown.

Maaaaaaaybe.....big maaaaaaaaybe

Currently the people actively collecting classic cars find this a total bastardization.

As for the 66 Mustang that does not break down, two observations (1) that's easy to achieve with ICE and (2) why do you assume EVs won't break down?

This is really great to have more options! I believe in keeping those totally collectables such as the Z/28s, Boss 302s etc... as pure to the past as possible, I love the retro mods as well, however there were a lot of I6 Camaros, Mustangs etc... as well, why not have an option to move those to EV.
