Tesla Releases New Roadster On Website - But Not In The Form You Were Expecting
Tesla may not have a solid delivery date for when it’s delivering its full-sized second generation Roadsters (currently 2021-ish), but the company today began selling a $250 1:18 scale model made from the same 3D CAD data as the real car. It is so detailed that we might be able to learn some new things about the full sized car here… like, look at that hatchback for instance…

Does the new Tesla have a battery powered V8 engine?

Considering that this Roadster model will be able to outrun any super or hypercar, one would think the styling would be a bit more like an Aventador vs an Toyota GT86. Even the new C8 looks 10x more exotic than this rendering.

What are you smoking? Elon cannot specify a launch date and even when he does he usually misses it, yet you are already saying it will "outrun" any hyper car? Keep I mind also, out accelerate one time before overheating is different from say, racing.
And yes, this scale model does erupt into flames just like the real thing.

Wait till you see it in person.

Says the liar who says he does not work for Tesla.

I don't, but I have seen the Roadster in person twice now and it looks frickin amazing. A photo I took just came up on one of my Google hubs from the last investor event, it's stunning and the design will age well. If I had a spare $200k and was closer to a midlife crisis, I might actually get one.

Takes an AA battery.

The roadster does not exist. So it is absurd to say that it will "outrun any super or hypercar".

List of Tesla vaporware fails:
- On the go battery swaps (6 years ago)
- $35k model 3 (3 years ago)
- FSD hardware (3 years ago)
- Solar tiles (3 years ago)
- Semi (2 years ago)
- Roadster (2 years ago)

And all of these products are going to be developed with no capex. Comedy gold!

Don't forget the current investigation into cars catching on fire.

Battery swaps were cancelled as they should have been. It makes no sense when you can charge 100 miles in 5 minutes.

The $35k Model 3 was delivered, anyone that wanted one got it.
FSD hardware was delivered, the software is still catching up.
Solar tiles are being delivered right now.
Semi is scheduled for the end of 2020.
Roadster is looking like 2021.

Vaparware means something will never come out. Most concept cars are vaporware. Tesla does release the products they show off, albeit late most of the time.

Also, top speed is over 500 MPH and it will do the ring under 5 minutes in autopilot.

And it can be fully charged in less than 1 minute using the new 1kV charger. It will be included with the car but only if you place your $10k deposit before the end of the year. Call now and Tesla will throw in the solar charger FREE!
