Will there be a button to reduce the size of the grill?

My regret is I can only upvote you once.

In other news (of special interest to SJD/CarlosLassiter of the Tesla accounts payables department in Fremont) - couldn't sneak a pic but got the impression that the 2021 MB S-Class coming out a year from now will have a full-on copy of the Tesla Model S' IP - jumbotron and everything. Teslarati, get ready to be smug.

All cars are going in this route as well as the utilitarian design. Once you get an iPhone, nobody goes back to a Blackberry or Palm Pre. It's a better solution but takes some time to get used to.

Oh but they are. Every company is putting in bigger screens across the board on their newer models, mark my words utilitarian design is coming next.

There will be, but it will require an annual subscription.

Welcome to 2012 BMW, welcome. Except.. did I hear "store"? Tesla owners get these updates for free.

You are in a good mood...was today 'employee chair massage day' or 'sushi day' at the Fremont plant?

I do get sushi and an occasional free massage, because I work for a tech company that is not Tesla. (You think Tesla employees get those perks??)

Not free, you pay for these with the exorbitant price of the car.

You can think of the cost of upgrades as being bundled into the price of the car, that's fair, same thing with internet access (for which no Tesla owner has every been charged for to this day).

How did I get lumped in with SJD?

I don't work for Tesla and I don't advocate for Tesla, in fact I posted on here that I actually test drove a Model 3 some time ago and concluded that the 'user interface' was just not something I thought I could get used to. Not to mention the schizophrenic corporate strategy in which they announced retail closures then said never mind, while changing the prices two or three times over a few week stretch.

This is going to make up for BMW's bad designs and inattention to reliability/durability?
