SPIED! Latest Spy Shots REVEAL What The All-new Ford Mach E Will Look Like — Are YOU Seeing The Mustang In Its Design?
As we end the first full week in November and get past the 2019 SEMA Show, we're turning to the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS). Both barrels are pointed squarely on SoCal now, folks.

Probably the biggest reveal for the LA show is the Ford Mach E. This is the electric vehicle that the Blue Oval has made clear is inspired by the Mustang.

But, how much creative license is Ford taking from the Mustang? If the latest spy shots are any indication, it looks like a lot, actually.

Check out its "face," with the squinted headlights and prominent front grille. Then its side profile clearly has a define "bone line," that flares up and over the rear fenders — this is very GT sports car and lifted from the latest-gen Mustang. Around its hind quarters there's clearly some taillights taking some liberty from Ford's pony car but it's difficult to decipher if those are real or merely part of the intricate camouflage.

Stay tuned for more 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show-related news, right here on AutoSpies.com!

Looks promising.

Could be awesome, can't wait to see the specs. Mustangs are known for being high value performance cars, hope this will be the same.

You're such a liar. You do NOT hope this will be good. You're just trying to claw yourself out of the hate hole you've dug yourself into by being such a Tesla suckrod (sic) on crack, constantly bashing anything that isn't Tesla and making up things to cheer Tesla on about.

Just because Tesla's my favorite team doesn't mean I can't root for another one as well. Would be nice if it was an American company as well that took 2nd place in the EV wars.

Ford is doing all the right things making an EV inspired by one one of the strongest car brands in history, and turning it into a SUV. If there is anything that might be able to sell as well as the Model 3, it's this or the id3. I don't know about you, but I'd rather root for the US-made electric Mustang versus the compact German car.

Will it beat out the upcoming Tesla Model Y ludicrous mode crossover?

You mean. "Model Why." You fanboys are always gushing over the performance of vehicles not even made yet. Keep trying.

Indeed: "Model Why"

It's just a Model 3 with the roof raised two inches.

And an electric hatchback (which a lot of S owners miss on the 3), and a panoramic glass roof, and theoretical seating for 7.

Besides that, yeah it's pretty much a Model 3. Nothing wrong with that, they could have taken a lot more risks (cough, falcon wing doors) but I'm glad they didn't. Let's the 3 and Y sustain the company and take risks on other products like the Cybertruck.

Tons of Mustang DNA in it.

Is this Ford's answer to the Blazer?

Sorry, forgot it is an EV for warm weather states.

"Is this Ford's answer to the Blazer?"

Not even remotely. The Blazer is a response to the Edge, which need a lot more "edge" asap. #Boresville

This is more a stab in the direction of Tesla.

No, it looks like a Cadillac job. ""We'll put the grill and taillights from our concept on a repurposed Chevy and no one will know, hopefully."

Im seeing more Escape than Mustang....hopefully they do more than tack on a few Mustang style buts onto an Escape. If they get the styling right, and have decent range they have a huge opportunity against the Model ...especially because they will have the tax credit available.

They should not be using the Mach name for an EV. It should be reserved for a special edition Mustang, not a CUV. Heritage should be preserved and not sold off for the lowest common denominator.

Quite obviously "Shelby" is their upper-echelon Mustang name. The last Boss 302 generated foot traffic but people said "too bad it's not a Shelby".

Mach E is stupid. I'd have stayed with Mach 1.

MustangCross or Mustang X might have been a better idea that Mach E.

I want a Mach E with the Avelli option.

Why the need to connect this to the Mustang? Those rear taillights dates the styling.
