LEAKED! The All-new Genesis GV80's Interior Gets EXPOSED Before Its Reveal — Spy Shots Uncover EVERYTHING!
I have a new theory, Spies. I am pretty sure that BMW and Hyundai's Genesis have been working together in some capacity.

They've been in cahoots to see which automaker could take longer to develop and productize a sport-utility vehicle.

LEAKED! Genesis GV80 Interior

The Genesis GV80 is on the way and over the past few months some leaks have revealed to us the exterior design. But, what about its interior?

Well, its day has come.

Thanks to a Korean-based automotive website, all-new spy shots fully reveal the GV80's interior. While none of the screens are powered up or shot at an angle we can get a great look, it's the best look at this all-new Genesis' interior. NOTE: See the rotary dial to select gears, the use of a touchscreen for what I assume are HVAC controls, check out the leather-stitched dashboard peeking out from under camouflage, etc.

It's clearly taking a lot of inspiration from the Hyundai Palisade but has some added refinement in Genesis' own way.

According to reports, the GV80 is expected to be revealed November 28.

Why is it that Kia still looks the best out of the 3 Korean brands?

Simple...

Hyundai is targeting Toyota's "bland garishness" and it's hit and miss with their efforts stylistically with more miss than hit.

Kia is targeting a more refined upscale look and Kia's hit the mark more often than not.

Genesis is too afraid to get too risky, so they run scared and make their cars as dull as can be.

Hyundai-Kia still has not fully figured out their marketing focus.

Kia should be a Buick/Acura/Subaru brand. Hyundai needs pickups. Genesis needs coherence.

Genesis should be going with incredibly risky, love-it-or-hate it styling because sales could only get better. They also need names: Genesis Inception, Genesis Evolution, Genesis Origin, Genesis Vision. something to make them stand out in the alphabet soup world.

I'd recast the G90 into a stylistic riff on the rectilinear Lagonda Taraf and first Cadillac Seville. With a L-O-N-G hood, a big rear seat and almost be a return to the grandiosity of a Lincoln Town Car. I'd send people in to paroxysms and call it Ecstasy. I would do something so horribly wrong that people might find it "right". Now throw batteries under that long wheelbase and you have a long-range premium sedan. Sales of something this goofy couldn't be any worse than the sales of the G90. If it failed it would have failed because people had a strong reaction rather than failing because there was no pulse.

Maybe Hyundai-Kia could buy the Maserati name or even buy Jaguar and recast Genesis with a bought brand name.

I agree that Kia seems to be the best of the Korean brands. I feel like Genesis waited too long to get serious about going upscale and the time has past. Just start making all Kias as luxury brand as you already have dealerships, and give up on Genesis.

Looks exactly like my 1997 Plymouth interior I used to drive. Common Genesis, you have got to been more imaginative that Plymouth was 22 years ago!

I think it looks good. It is hard to tell from pictures, but Genesis is getting the quality of materials mostly right. I wish Cadillac could do interiors this well.

The Telluride's interior, sorry to say, looks better. This steering wheel looks awful. The dial-by-letter gear select is awful. The placement of the dash screen looks impossibly far from the driver. So in its attempt to copy Land Rover, it appears to be a fail.

The new Genesis GV80 interior here looks like an old Kia model and the Kia Telluride interior is the luxury interior. Genesis GV80 better change badges to a Hyundai model if that is what the center stack and dash going look like!
