Would You Rather Pay A Speeding Ticket Or Suffer A 45 Minute Timeout Instead?
In a bid to crack down on traffic accidents, motorists can now offer to wait in a car park instead of forking out money for their mistakes. Under the new scheme in Estonia, motorists breaking the speed limit by 20 km an hour would have to wait 45 minutes in a car park next to the road.

This increases to 60 minutes if they’re caught driving between 21 and 40 km an hour over the limit.

Speeding tickets should be treated as what they are: taxation. They should not go on a person's record. Heck, offer ApplePay.

I disagree with you. Timeout is also a taxation just not in the form on money. Everybody has 24 hours in a day but not everybody has the same amount of money in the bank. It is more fair to give a time out and level the plain field for everybody.

Are you really that dense?

I said nothing about a time out, but you're saying taxation is OK it's not monetary. Clearly you don't work for a living because time is money.

It's the "playing" field not the "plain" field.

First of all you should not be talking about being dense. Everyone on this forum knows who is the "dense" person here.
Secondly, accusing someone being dense does not make your argument correct. It makes you more childish.
Lastly, you mentioned ApplePay. Clearly you are ok with pay money for the tickets and not the timeout.

So what you really is asking is if you would like to be treated like an out of control child? Is there any spanking you are not telling us about?
