Which French Car Would You Like To See FCA Bring To The States First?
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and France's Groupe PSA are on course for a merger that's set to form the world's fourth-largest automaker and potentially open the doors for some of PSA's exotic-to-us European fare to be sold in America. Given that PSA has a healthy portfolio including Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel, and Vauxhall, there's no shortage of Euro exclusives to daydream about making it over here.

Sorry - I have always found French cars to be weird. THey no longer make anything like the SM - which was decent - but right now - Opel is not an option - Buick already has them here. I suppose the DS cars could be sold as Chrysler vehicles - but the actual Citroen or Peugeot brands are not relished by anyone in the USA. Opel has no real cars that we do not already have with Buick -

Chances are we'll see early synergies for engines & hybrid & EV powertrains.

If they share tech early, it will be shared tech in areas we don't touch or see. this was the main premise of the DCX - Daimler-Chrysler merger. However, M-B hadn't figured out just how to make that transition without the perception that consumers would think Benz vehicles would be using Chrysler hardware/tech.

So newer instrument & infotainment screens could be shared - but wrapped in brand-specific styling.

French cars are an acquired taste but if I had to choose it would be Peugeot.

Peugeot tends to be the most sedate looking.

I think the Citroën Cactus would have sold well over here but it is getting a bit old now.

The Peugeot concept coupe would be just fine with 350 HP and AWD.
