Neither Chevrolet Or Jeep Worried About New Bronco, But Shouldn't ONE Of Them Be?
During a recent interview with Muscle Cars & Trucks, Chevrolet and Jeep executives appeared to be relatively calm upon the future arrival of the Ford Bronco, despite both automakers offering direct and indirect rivals to the long-awaited Blue Oval nameplate.

Detroit Big Three's spirit of competition has led to some incredible cars and exciting clashes, but the report gives the impression that General Motors and Fiat-Chrysler aren't too worried once next Spring rolls around, which is when Ford confirmed the Bronco will launch after nearly three years of teasing and promising.

No - the original Bronco was a poor excuse for a vehicle. It rode terribly, was awfully small - and really was not much of a threat to anything else.

The real question is - what will this new Bronco be. And how much will it cost.
But I do not foresee a second coming of the mustang. I do not recall any such questions asked about the new Blazer either.

To be honest, it kinda seems like GM quietly slipped the new Blazer into their lineup. It's a descent "lifestyle" type of CUV comparable to the Murano.

It's unclear what the new Bronco will be or be capable of. If the right options will be available, I can see it stealing market from the Wrangler, cheaper Grand Cherokees, Blazer, Equinox, 4Runner, Murano, Pathfinder.

Jeep should be worried. Ford quality is much better than FCA quality and the Bronco is an iconic nameplate. If Ford gets the Bronco right and given the egregious quality lapses of the Wrangler, Jeep could be in deep caca.
