NAME And SHAME! WHICH Autos Have Been The BIGGEST Turkeys Of 2019?
It's that time of the year, Spies.

While we definitely like to reflect on the great things we're able to enjoy in life, whether that's an amazing family, excellent health or more material things, we also like to keep it real. And what better way to do that than naming and shaming the products that let us down in 2019?

We want you to think back through the vehicles you've driven or tested in 2019. From that contingent, let us know which autos deserve to be dubbed the biggest turkeys of 2019.

Some nominations given my experiences in 2019:
  • Subaru Ascent
  • BMW 330i
  • BMW M850i coupe
  • Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio
What say you, Spies? WHICH autos have been the BIGGEST turkeys of 2019 by your measure?

The Explorer's launch was a full on botch job. The irony is that the defect that interrupted production was caught before many had reached customers, but the fact that such an egregious oopsie happened is an eyes-off-the-prize moment.

We had an Aviator show up and then mysteriously were told that supply had been interrupted. The delays on both were annoying.

1. Cybertruck is the definition of a big ugly turkey.

2. The Genesis G70 was very hyped but does not seem to be living up to the hype.

The Ferrari SF90. It is a brand new model. It is in the lineup and not a limited run car. It has 1,000hp from a hybrid drivetrain and nobody cares. A body that looks like a 458 being eaten (red consuming black) and a video game interior with a light-up steering wheel. So very sad.

Although it is an all-new model it is clearly on the 458's chassis.

So, it's sort of a non-event, yes.

GM and Toyota, so much potential, so effed up.
I'd say the whole of 2019 has been a turkey year for the US as the auto industry is now concentrating on China and Europe leaving us with crumbs.

The Mach E is the only real sign of life from American automakers. The C8 is impressive but it's a niche.

The Mach-E is targeted for Europe, what was the news, at least 60% of first year production? Now GM is mulling a Camaro electric crossover.

The C8 unveil caused the C7 prices to spike, like WTF?! GM's management is guaranteed to make every wrong decision possible and what saves their bacon is they are so incompetent they can't follow through and the occasional engineer rebellion actually making it to market.

Toyota can't figure out how to sell the GT86, can't catch up to Honda's appeal in any category, Mazda and Subaru are beating it over the head with an ugly stick, and Toyota keeps hyping the hydrogen BS and pushing greenies to Tesla instead of making attractive plugins.

I cannot help but notice the question posted by Agent00R was regarding which cars we have driven or tested. While the Cyberjunk is surely a disappointment, I am sure no one has driven it or the C8 yet.
I'll put my vote in on the Ford Explorer. It is a huge missed opportunity. It drives no better than any FWD crossover and the interior is so cheap it makes GM interiors look good.
My second is for VW. Their cars are no longer fun to drive and their interiors make the Explorer look like a Lincoln, all while not fixing their quality issues.

Thank you, Truthy.

I too was immensely disappointed with the 2020 Explorer.

The Chevy Silverado was a classic example of how GM manages to screw up the launching of the most important vehicle it its line-up.

There was a time that was one thing you could depend on GM to get right. Clearly, GM needs a marketing guru - and a styling guru as well.
