Chevrolet Offers Up To $9,000 OFF Remaining C7 Corvettes
Production of the front-engined Corvette has come to an end, but there's still plenty out there available from the dealer. Now that the new mid-engined C8 generation is getting closer to rolling out of the factory, people are understandably waiting for it to become available. That leaves Chevrolet with a problem: it needs to incentivize people to clear out the inventory of the C7 generation. According to GM Authority, Chevy is continuing to offer big discounts on the C7, with up to $9,000 in savings available off existing models.

That's a mistake. If you want one, buy one. They are making anymore. Silly short sighted quarterly focused decision. They could all sell for full pop.

The C7 is beautiful and 10 to 15 years from now it will be coveted. The C8 is not beautiful and I would most definitely not want one until at least the 2nd or 3rd model year once all the bugs are worked out.

It's fast..so what? The C7 was fast too.

MD - who got the chance the buy the "last one" serial number wise?

I have no idea who the guy was that bought the last C7. It was auctioned off months ago and built a while back.

We have no Corvettes on the lot and are scrambling to get more. Our Black Friday event saw our Corvettes go for list price along with a whole lotta trucks.

Dealer trades aren't worth it because dealers that have stock, but no sales will want to trade in such a way that you lose money.

Anyone should be able to find the typical GM incentive of 20-25% off MSRP.

We haven't had to go there with the Corvette. The Camaro is a name-what-you'll-pay-for-it kinda thing. Silverados are incentivized to make 20% off still profitable.
