SPIED: Prototypes Get SNAPPED Before Going Into Winter Hiding — Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes-AMG, Alpina And MORE
Winter is coming, Spies!

You know what that means. Tracks in snow belts have packed up for the cold months ahead and the world famous Nürburgring will not be home to testing in the snow.

Spy photos will emerge from other areas of the globe. That includes arctic climates as well as Death Valley.

But before the focus shifts, our friends at Auto Motor Und Sport put together a helluva photo gallery showing what went down in November. This includes a variety of vehicles, including:

- All-new Wiesmann
- Refreshed, LCI BMW 5-Series
- All-new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster
- All-new Mercedes-AMG GLA-Class
- All-new Alpina BMW X7
- And much, MUCH more!

There's a lot of "standing still" among those prototypes rather than advancing design and style. The S Class needed to be something more than yet another take on a suppository. Sure it will sell because it's the S Class, but the look of the new one is a dead ringer for the current one which had a lot in common with the previous one.

I'm not understanding the laziness.

The S-Class became very dated looking about 6 months after the mid-cycle refresh hit. The refresh looked older than the 2016 version.

MB styling is just drab these days. Its gone 'smooth' but the 'smooth' they choose totally screams 'cheap' and 'bland'.

The CLS is so drab, it can be confused with a $35,000 A-Class.
