Genesis GV80 SUV Goes Full Monty - Is THIS What You Were Hoping For?
Genesis is struggling to keep the upcoming GV80 a secret. Back in September, a dealership posted what it claimed were official renders of the production model. And now several photos have appeared online showing Genesis' first luxury SUV completely undisguised during a commercial photo-shoot as well as inside a servicing facility in Korea. Posted by Allcarnews, the photos aren't the best quality, but they give us a good idea of what the production model will look like.

Will make a decent fleet rental.

It's time to dissolve Genesis and merge it with Kia who is making nicer and more premium looking SUVs like the Telluride. This would also solve the issue of Genesis not having standalone dealerships. Hyundai gave Genesis a try but it's not working.

Looks pretty nice so far. Hopefully they have developed a proper luxury platform and are not trying to enter the segment the way Cadillac did.

It looks promising. The proof will be seeing it in the metal and the drivetrain.
I agree that having 3 brands in the US for their volume seems too much.

Genesis' attempt to clone Range Rover interiors mostly works, but it's bordering on bland and too non-descript. And the exterior looks handsome enough but that grille is just garish.

Hyundai should stick to making ships and welding wire -not cars.

Meh. I bet there are not that many buyers out there for an expensive Hyundai.

What that should do is buy JLR for the names given that Tata is shopping them around.

They could turn Genesis into Jaguar. The G70/80/90 are simply better than the XE/F/J.

Bad pictures but not looking good, but even if it did, Hyundai botched the Genesis dealer network, so good luck buying one.

those rotary gear shift knobs will be stripped before you know it - bad design idea, stick to a comfortable stick, kind of like trying to reinvent the shape of a tire

Genesis Crossovers styling looking pretty un-upscale so far! More like a Nissan! Very disappointing! Then Genesis keeps dragging the GV80 on like Ford’s Bronco!

Genesis needs to target their takedown of Buick and Cadillac.

everything Genesis sells is better than anything GM builds...anywhere. (Vette is the current exception). Cadillac is pathetic compared to the current Genesis products IMO and this SUV is going to spew value where as Cadillac is nothing but parts bin trash... really sad.
