If Nissan's Next Gen GT-R Looked Like THIS, Would You Make Room For Godzilla In Your Garage?
When it comes to the future of the Nissan GT-R and that of the Z car, there's good news and there's bad news. The good, which clearly outweighs the bad, involves the carmaker ensuring us that both the supercar and the sportscar will be kept alive. As for bad, it has to do with the fact that the carmaker hasn't released any details on the matter.

Dumb question. The car will never look anything like that and consumer do not buy a vehicle just for looks. The GTR would have to loos a lot of weight.

The next gen GTR will find plenty driveways because it is the next gen GTR and the current one was legendary when first introduced putting super cars to shame that cost 2, 3, and 4 times as much.

Nissan, please for the love of god don’t butcher this like Toyota did with the Supra, you have already taken too many L’s to count this year sales wise anyway

I definitely would not include Nissan on my list of car manufacturers I would chose to replace my 812 Superfast with - no matter what it looked like. It is going to take something mighty special to have me even think of replacing that Naturally aspirated V-12 with any other engine currently made.

The next GTR needs to be much more like a Shelby GT350 than another stupid vapor car.

They should focus on making a good inexpensive sports car... the 240Z Matt mentions above is a good start. Maybe have 2 motors I4 the 2.4T and a 300Z with a 3.0V6T. Let the GTR rest for a few years as absence makes the heart grow fonder.
