Honda Braces For Huge Changes After Quality Falls Below Industry Average

Honda’s Chief Executive Takahiro Hachigo is set to change the way the Japanese automaker does its business, following a string of expensive recalls and other quality issues.

 

Speaking to a gathering of Honda’s suppliers in Japan, the car maker’s boss said that they must slash their model range and decrease the number of model types and options, Reuters reports.

The chart is about problems found per 100 vehicles. It is used as a measure of build quality. Honda is apparently now BELOW average.

I dumped my wife's Honda Accord after 3 months of nothing but unresolved problems at the dealership.
No Honda car for me ever again!

My Honda Accord was the worst car I've ever owned, in every way. My Porsche has so much higher quality, it's ridiculous.
