Cadillac On The Verge Of Posting First Annual Sales Increase In Six Years
Cadillac's recent product blitz, including two new crossovers, has put the luxury brand on pace for its first U.S. retail sales gain since 2013.

Cadillac President Steve Carlisle said the brand also expects to set its second-consecutive global sales record. That's partly because of growth in China, despite declining industry sales in the world's largest vehicle market.

This will be a short time - since Cadillac is killing the XTS and CT6 in early 2020.

This is very little reason lay out premium dollars for a Cadillac that is virtually no different than a Chevrolet with a Caddy emblem glued on.

While the SUVs are using the same Platforms - The Sedans(Except the XTS) use Platforms designed specifically for cadillac - the ALpha Platform was Cadillac Premium first - and then adopted by Camaro. The Ct6 Platform - likely the most advanced Sedan Platform was for that car alone.

@Skytop are you of the same opinion about Lexus' best selling products too?

Why put all the resources into producing the CT6 and then kill it?!? It is a fine car in need of a better luxury interior and sold only in top trim with a V8. Johan killed this car at launch by emphasizing the 4 cylinder which people buying this class do not buy.
They should have a refresh to give it more visual impact, a better interior and standard V8. Otherwise their best selling vehicles will be renamed Chevys.

They have two refreshed sedans. The XT5 is their best selling vehicle. the XT6 is gaining ground. The CT4 platform also underpins the Camaro, not a bad thing as there is no 2 door CT4.

Reread my post. I said "best selling vehicles." Their sedans are selling literally hundreds.

Cadillac buyers now will have to update their vehicles when their model ID switch back to actual names again! Status is a bitch!

I have to say overall their line up is not bad. They need to do more to develop the brand and reputation as the king of luxury, power and poise. I also like their latest SUV designs. I have read that they are pretty good but not so fantastic. However I think the styling of their SUVs is pretty good as I am starting to see more and more of them on the road, especially the XT4 and XT5.
