House Bill Introduced To Protect Your Right To Build A Race Car
If you were to ask the Environmental Protection Agency whether you're allowed to turn your Honda CRX into a straight-piped, mid-engined race car, its answer would be an emphatic "no." Road-legal or not, the EPA's interpretation of the Clean Air Act makes fiddling with your vehicle's emissions systems a crime. Though you'd struggle to find an example of someone being prosecuted for not having an emissions-compliant race car, it's better to be on the right side of the law, and a bill introduced earlier this week in Congress intends to make race car conversions totally legal.

Great, we can't get a bill on infrastructure, but can get one on homemade race cars.

Democrats don't want an infrastructure bill because it would take away from welfare spending.

@scenicbyway - You are confusing the previous Republican Party with the current Trump party. One worked for America and across the aisle, the current one is focused solely on its own self interest and survival. No to worry, November 2020 will be here before you know it. "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow..."

Funny how once again @CC is a hypocrite. Supposedly the Republicans are "bad" because they won't "across the aisle" and he says that as the Democrats are not even remotely interested in doing likewise. November is coming and Trump will win by a landslide.

@MD There are no Republicans left. The Party is now morally bankrupt. As far back as 2008 When Obama got elected Mitch McConnell said the goal was to block this new president at every single step. That game plan continues to this day. Quite a contrast to the group of real Republicans who worked quite well with Clinton (bills got passed even during the impeachment period)and those who came before walked up to the White House and told Nixon that he was toast and would be impeached. He did the honourable thing and resigned. The real fix is term limits on Congress and Senate positions. You need new blood and new ideas.

Perhaps, but the Democrats have been morally bankrupt for DECADES and DECADES and DECADES: pro slavery, anti-civil rights, anti-women's right to vote, and on and on and on.

Pelosi, Schumer, Feinstein, Waters, Warren. Omar, Tlaib all need to go.
