RENDERED SPECULATION: IF The All-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Looks Like THIS, Will You Consider It A STUD or DUD?
With each passing day, we get just a little bit closer to seeing the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. As I've noted in previous stories related to this next-gen Benz, I am eager to see what happens.

We've already seen quite a lot, however, some key details are being missed. For example, its entire exterior design.

Sure, we know that it will boast pop-out door handles, more squinted headlights and taillights, as well as as a shape similar to the current-gen model. But how will that come together is still a bit of a mystery.

I think the big news will be its interior. That's because it's going to undergo a significant overhaul. Thanks to the massive screen in the center stack and additional technology, we're expecting BIG things from the three-pointed star.

That said, a publisher based in Russia did something we've been waiting for: It put together a rendering of the all-new S. From what we can tell, this is looking fairly accurate — we've pored through plenty of spy shots to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

So, what do YOU think?

Limp.

The car rises from the nose to the middle and then falls to the tail. Limp is a perfect word. Given the men who will buy it, they can relate to the struggle to "inflate" by the middle of festivities only to fail completely and sag again.

This S model MB is its ultra conservative model spelled with a CAPITAL C.
It looks as secure as having a 7 figure bank book balance.

I would recommend at least an 8 figure bank book balance... so there won't be one in my driveway.

I would consider it a C Class with a pituitary problem.

Let's hope to God that this Genesis-dull render isn't right.

My dealer manager says they saw the car in a private showing and its similar to this but better. However I am not liking it. We will see.

It's so droopy looking from every angle.

Still better looking than a Tesla Model S, by a mile.

It is an 'Audi A8' type evolution of the prior gen - where the new one just got more bland and more forgettable that the one which preceded it.

This segment is shrinking so unclear where this goes - maybe a cheap lease will save it? The cost of many of these are flushed thru people's businesses anyway.

Dud. Boring, needs to evolve.

I am surprised that that bunch actually expected something different. It's an S-Class. Evolving 1mm-2mm at a time.

I'd love something more captivating like the 450SEL 6.9 must have been in the day. That car is still captivating today, This isn't.

All new model, isn't that when Mercedes builds a completely different looking car so the previous iteration looks aged and your rich neighbors are jealous of your good fortune as the owner of the ALL NEW S Class?? I have a feeling that Gladys Kravitz even with her glasses on will notice your good fortune and all new car if this is the deal... so I vote "I hope this is not the new S-Class" boring and so similar, I am having a hard time determining what is all new.

This is more likely a mild restyle, but that's "all-new" these days.

Hopefully this won't come to fruition like this. This looks disjointed.
