DRIVEN + VIDEO: The KBB Team Dishes On The 2020 Lincoln Aviator — Is It The REAL DEAL?
If you're in market for an all-new, luxury sport-utility vehicle it's a busy place to be shopping. There's just so many different options and the matrix of possibilities gets dense quick.

You really need to take your time, do your research and, frankly, experience each of your candidates.

One we've been pretty enthused about is the all-new Lincoln Aviator. Featuring a slew of excellent features and coming off the staggeringly good Navigator, we're feeling quite positive about Lincoln's products to date. There's just one catch: If you're not careful, the prices can get awfully steep — we're talking about the Black Label trims.

So, how does it do? See what our friends at Kelley Blue Book think in the clip below!

There's a first time for everything. This is the Lincoln Aviator's first time rolling into the midsize three-row SUV segment. Hello, newbie. Lincoln's pulling off some major wins these days, so let's see if the Aviator stacks up to the all-American hype.

One of the best looking SUVs made today!

Agreed!

Very compelling when compared to X5, GLE, Q7, RX, XT6, et al.

Still think it looks a bit too much like the 1st gen. Q7. Not a bad thing, just find it interesting.

I'd love to borrow one for a couple of months. They are selling nicely for us.

Looks good, but $70-80k? No thanks. I could have a Mercedes GLS for that price. Better yet, I'd rather keep my current suv and save the money.

Agree it is a bit over priced given it share a platform with the Explorer. Option it up and I have found it exceed an equivalent Q7 or XC90

It actually isn't given how well it compares to Mercedes and BMW entries in the segment. The Aviator simply IS that good. The attention to detail is excellent.

The Q7 and the XC90 are class trailers; the Volvo is laughably unrefined. The GLE and the X5 are where it's at. The Aviator is likely to have better reliability. It's worth the money.

They are transacting without significant discounts needed which is very encouraging and they are not languishing on the lot. The XT6 has major cash on the hood to get it out the door by comparison.

Problem with the GLE and X5 are their near useless 3rd row, and low cargo area.

Be that as it may, the Audi isa second runner to the MB/BMW offerings and the Volvo is so easily outclassed it's ridiculous.

The Aviator is the best executed luxury vehicle from a US manufacturer. If I were in the market for a 7 seater I would take this first.

The Aviator is a special moment in American cars.

Too bad Cadillac is still so adrift.

In some ways the Cadillac XT6 is their stop-gap, Hail Mary move like the Continental was for Lincoln.

The Continental was a hastily contrived SuperFusion that was surprisingly well executed for how quickly the program was begun and brought to market. The Continental changed perceptions and the Aviator is the first Lincoln that is truly in the new spirit and they've done well.

The XT6 is a SuperAcadiaTraverseEnclave and and it's not terrible. Had they named it something expressive like Elmago or some other "El + Spanish word" name, it would be seen as a transformative vehicle. Ditto if the CT4 were dubbed "Seville". People would be talking about Cadillac's transformation.

Lincoln is transforming. The Aviator is a home run, but much more importantly, the Corsair is hella nice.

Agreed, Lincoln put their best resources into where the market is, SUVs, and it shows.
