Japan Asks Interpol To Go After Ghosn's Family Members
Japan is seeking an Interpol "Red Notice" for Carole Ghosn, the wife of Carlos Ghosn, the latest move by the country to put pressure on the former auto executive after his surprise escape from trial.

Investigators have asked Interpol for the notice, which could restrict Carole Ghosn’s movements outside of Lebanon, where she joined her husband, national broadcaster NHK reported, citing unidentified sources.

I'm not sure if I would ever want to piss off Japanese prosecutors.

So does this make her guilty by association? Slippery slope if this is allowed if she is truly innocent and had no involvement with the shenanigans of her criminal thief of douche hubby. Better call Saul!

Carole Ghosn knowingly and willingly aided and abetted a suspect to escape custody during an ongoing investigation. So yeah, she is guilty.

I am waiting for world leaders to start weighing in here and telling everybody to just drop it.

...but the Japanese will not drop it because they feel they have "lost face" but further efforts to keep this in the news will just make them look even MORE like the Keystone Cops than perhaps they are.

At some point, the Japanese will realize that the court case is hard to prove, that their prosecution was racially motivated (if Ghosn was a Japanese native he would not be prosecuted and if Nissan was doing better he also would not have been prosecuted). This is an issue that was created a decade ago when Japanese mismanagement basically had run Nissan into the ground and it was facing bankruptcy.

Ghosn saved Nissan only to be constantly vilified over the course of his tenure.

I suspect this incident causes some Japanese 'navel gazing' that might bring about some reforms. If not, it will likely curtail foreign investment in Japan.

The wife knowingly benefitted. She is a criminal. Jail the bitch. Ghosn's last sounds that he hears need to be "pew pew".

The Ghosn family are corrupt and part of the theft. Japan should have thrown Ghosn into jail.
