Lamborghini Officially Becomes A SUV Maker With A Side Sprinkling Of Super Cars - Sales Up 43% In 2019

If you’ve a romantic notion that the Lamborghini factory is a quiet shed in a sleepy Italian village - where a few mad petrolheads cycle down a few times a week to drop noisy engines into the middle of wedge-tastic sports cars - then forget it.

It’s 2020, and Lamborghini is officially an SUV company. A very successful one.

Just follow the Porsche playbook to profitability and stability. They should make a smaller one. And a crazy one with a V12 more like the Cheetah of days gone by.

The silhouette photo shows how impracticable the Lamborghini SUV actually is. The rear rake is so extreme as to seriously render the back of the vehicle useless except for carrying a door mat.

Of course its "impracticable", this is not for someone that needs the utility of a real SUV. This for the people that don't know what to do with their money and want to have fun and maybe haul their kids.
Great for Lambo!

Wow - more WW Urus sales than Bentayga sales? I suspect this might be the "early adopter" or "wait-list" bump and this will moderate.

The "tell" is how there are doing on the used market? What's the pre-owned situaton like with the Urus? Anyone have data?

....just answered my own question - there are currently 26 used Urus' for sale on Ebay - in the low $200's - so maybe demand is not off the charts after all?
