Elon Musk must read Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s books quite often. Once, he said that, if Tesla went bust, he would as well. There is nothing more “Skin In the Game” than this. That is the title of one of Taleb’s most famous books. That is probably why the Tesla CEO gave Taleb such a quick answer to a complaint related to the company’s Customer Service. Just wait until the Model Y is out. I think most of the people in CA that wanted a Model 3 have one and incentives run dry on other EVs, sales will rise.

Tesla could have dropped prices to match the drop in incentives, but they didn't that means they still have enough demand globally for all the Model 3s they can produce. The S and X are stagnant, but the plaid versions should help out later this year.
