At the time it was the bees knees.

And, today? Infinti is lost at sea. Honestly it's sad.

Infiniti NEVER "had it all". The Q sedan was always way behind the Lexus LS which was way behind the S Class and 7 Series. Infiniti NEVER had a successful sedan against the E and the 3. Their small sedan offerings were hit at miss, but mostly miss. The FX was a small glimmer of hope but it was allowed to get dated as hell and it just hasn't been good since. Jockitch De Niacin raped Infiniti.

He should have convinced Nissan to market the GTR as the Infiniti GTR. The small Q50 should have been marketed as a Skyline with BMW "M" level performance for the price of a BMW 325. There are great names that could work with Infiniti like Vision, Perception, Zen, and so on.

Hyundai should buy Infiniti and migrate its superior Genesis lineup over to the Infiniti dealer network, cancelling all the existing Infiniti's along the way.

You do realize that one of Infiniti's problems is that dealers are evaporating on them, right? You do realize that Infiniti dealers are nowhere near as upscale as what you'd find at Lexus, BMW, or Mercedes, right? The local Infiniti dealer used to be a Mitsubishi dealer, but then became a used car lot before it became an Infiniti dealer.
