No matter which brand you prefer, you can walk into a dealer and drive out with a car that has at least 650 horsepower from any of Detroit's "Big Three." The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, and Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye are each the most powerful versions of these models on sale today, but until now they haven't raced head-to-head. Edmunds decided to change that with a three-way drag race, and it's hard to be surprised by the results.

All three are truly great cars and I cannot wait to get my hands on a GT500. I want a Hennessey Exorcist. I had the opportunity to experience one and it was insane. I may have to sell some cars to make way in the shed for something new.

The Mustang GT500 is much more of a complete car than I ever thought it would be. I have seen track videos of this monster and it can keep pace with a Porsche GT3RS.

I would likely stick with a GT350R and call it a day. I don't need 700hp+ in my life really.
