Redefining Luxury - 2021 Mercedes S-Class Gives Us A Peek

We’ve seen countless spy photos of the 2021 Mercedes S-Class, but an undisguised image has surfaced online on a number of forums and social media accounts.

While it’s hard to pinpoint the photo’s origin, it shows the redesigned flagship will have an evolutionary design which is in keeping with newer models such as the GLE and GLS.

I do not know what Mercedes can ADD to my current model Maybach to make it something I would want to trade in for. I still love the V-12 which they are not continuing either. And I still have less than 5,000 miles on it. The Hit on depreciation is going to be MASSIVE and just not worth it. I already have more gizmos and gadgets that I do not know how to use. Nice Big screens for the BLIND people who should not be driving to begin with. But it will sell.

They announced in November they will be bringing back the V-12 for the next generation S Class...god bless the three pointed star!

As my S600 is in the shop this week to replace gaskets on the turbo chargers leaking coolant, and to replace the 24 spark plugs and coils, either of which require the engine to be removed from the car to do the work (at quite a cost at that), I think my next Mercedes will have a V8.

Just out of curiosity but how many miles did you have on the S before the turbo needed servicing? How much does Benz charge for a tune up then if they have to drop the V12 to replace the plugs? One thing I don't miss about German cars is the German car repair bills...

Love German cars but always dump day warranty expires.

@qwertyfla1: I have 91,573 miles on the car. I know, I know, I held onto it too long. But it's so nice! Anyway, I get the car serviced at an independent shop run by an Austrian fellow. I have also decided to take the opportunity to replace the engine mounts as they are pretty much gone. All told, this will cost about $4,200.

It needed new styling. This one looks like the old one and the old one looked like the one before it too much.
