Infiniti Ponders Subscription Service To Unload Unsold Vehicles
Infiniti’s winter of discontent was only one chapter in their miserable 2019 story. Nissan’s premium brand struggled mightily last year, with sales taking a hit to the tune of 21% overall, and it posted a shocking 38% deficit in December compared to the same period in 2018. Naturally, the brand's executives are scrambling to stop the bleeding however they can, and now it seems like they are considering a vehicle subscription service.

Good luck with that with their model lineup. Would have to be at a huge discount. Most manufacturers have dropped subscription services as pricing didn't attract enough subscribers to make it profitable.

Agreed, subscription model won't help, deep discounts and get it over with... design some new interesting cars/SUVs with great powertrains and they could get right back in there.

Why not just make better vehicles that people actually want to buy? Infiniti started brilliantly and then just shit the bed ever since.

Infiniti brand is a disaster. If plans for the next QX80 come through successfully in the next 2 years, that will be the only shining spot.

Next Q60 was canceled, next Q50 is EV and Q70 replacement isn't guaranteed.

Glad I sold my shares.

They will sell unsold old model only by having a 50% ~70% off sale. In the business, it is called a liquidation sale. If they don't sell them soon, it will be called a going out of business sale.
