If You LOVED The Groundhog Day Ad Featuring Bill Murray And The Jeep Gladiator, Here’s An Even BETTER Version...

Now, if I am being honest, this year's marketing campaigns for the 2020 Super Bowl were a bit "meh." Overall, they were on the weaker side.

And the auto manufacturers ads weren't lighting my fire either.

Well, except for one. That would be Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' (FCA) ad with the all-new Jeep Gladiator featuring Bill Murray. You see, there's a couple reasons for this.

First of all, the style of the spot was well done. Great videography, a well thought out concept and some witty humor playing off of Murray's hit flick, Groundhog Day, which of course fell on the day of the Super Bowl. Also, it doesn't hurt that Murray brings the kind of celebrity power that spans generations. Folks in their later years remember him from SNL, What About Bob and, of course, Groundhog Day. Younger generations are aware of Murray as an internet meme, his appearances in numerous Wes Anderson films and Ghostbusters.

How can you go wrong? You can't.

Depends how you define great. I was entertained. Does it make me want to buy the car? Nope. With the Jeep commercial I did look up the electric bicycle as least.
