WHICH SUV Moves You MORE? The 2021 Cadillac Escalade OR 2021 Genesis GV80?

Last week, while getting more familiar with the all-new, 2021 Cadillac Escalade, I kept being reminded of one major thing. There's a lot of great, all-new full-size sport-utility vehicles on the market.

Why would I spend up to six figures on an all-new Escalade?

As of now pricing has not been released but if the 2020 Escalade serves as a yardstick, it will easily hit $100K. Really easy.

Take, for example, the all-new Genesis GV80. It's a lot of truck and, guess what? It will top out at around $65,000 according to what we're hearing on the street.

Is the 2021 Escalade really going to be worth nearly DOUBLE of what a GV80 costs? Ultimately, it depends on how buyers value the vehicle in the open market.

So, we've got to ask: WHICH SUV moves you MORE? The 2021 Escalade or the 2021 GV80?

Of these two, the Escalade. The GV80 is horrible.

Agree it is the Caddy..I think somebody is better off just optioning up a Palisade than buying a GV80

Hate suv/cuv but if these are the only two choices I would take the caddy and give it to the wife.

Again - it comes to prestige. Escalade is the Top of the Cadillac line as has it.'

The Hyundai by another name doesn't.

Easily the Cadillac. The Genesis is not a good looking vehicle at all.

Just between these two, it would be the GV80. I just don't need/want anything as large as the Escalade, or its like. My true choices would be between the GLS and X7 if I needed 3 useable rows.

The Genesis looks better at their new design than this Escalade upgrade. the Caddy always has big shoes to fill so the expectations are high, the expectations for the Genesis are low, so i goess thats why i like it more, i just expected a little better from the escalade.
