Experts Predict Driving Will Be A Lost Art in 15 Years
Self-driving cars and autonomous vehicles are the next big thing in the automotive industry. All this innovation is begging the question, will kids of the future ever learn how to drive a car?

Only if the lame brain Democrats (Communists) come to power.
Communism and socialism have utterly failed around the world but the young ignorant and clueless Americans are supporting a senile old Communist for president. They are mesmerized by the (unobtainable) promised of FREE everything.

I'm sure he will give us all free driverless cars too, that we will use to not go to work, because healthcare, food, housing, iphones, TVs, and vacations will be free too. It will be utopia.

It doesn't matter who is in power, tech doesn't have a ideology or political party. AVs are coming and when they are here driving will never be the same. It might actually be better, when you drive you'll be doing for fun and because you love it... not because you have to. You'll also have access to "augmented" driving skills on a track or perhaps be able to replay some famous runs by pro drivers.

15 years?! Have they been out on the road lately? No one is driving and perhaps what's worse is no one is enforcing traffic laws!

I see a dozen AVs every day, but they all have safety drivers. There are some low speed AVs with no safety driver in Mountain View that mostly just deliver packages (I've yet to see it though). They're coming.

The GOP denies Americans Universal Healthcare, responsible gun laws, clean water, good roads, good schools, GMO free food, fair Congressional districts, drives up deficits and debt into the trillions, wages war so donors can profit, keeps people from voting and supports a President who broke the law and committed high crimes and misdemeanors...

And you worry about Bernie?

Even if it pretty much works on par with human driver accident rates, it will be shut down by some spectacular lawsuits. Spreading liability across millions of drivers is the system that works.

I like to see those little delivery vehicles at low speeds with no passenger proven safety records first. 15 years seem possible but unlikely.
