Performance Becomes Toyota's Middle Name: 2021 Toyota Supra GR May Debut With 382HP

The all-new Toyota GR Supra was only introduced for the 2020 model year but the Japanese automaker has gone ahead and made big updates for 2021.

No doubt, the big news for the 2021 Toyota GR Supra is the introduction of a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, the nameplate’s first-ever four-pot. As expected, it’s also sourced from BMW and it delivers 255 HP at 5,000-6,500 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque from 1,550 to 4,400 rpm.

Has anyone purchase one? I only see them sitting a dealer lots. I do see huge amounts of money on the hood.

It's a good thing Toyota realizes 335 hp is not enough these days... But to introduce next year model in February and it will have almost 50 more hp? Not to mention the 2020 barely just hitting the road? I feel bad for those that bought the 2020s.

The Toyota CEO is calling the upcoming 3 cylinder GR Yaris a "pure Toyota sports car". Really? Then why did you phone in the Supra and FT86?

I drove the 2020 model. It's great but the interior is really tiny.
