Ford Will Reveal New Bronco In March - Compact Version Due Next Month At NYIAS
The wait for the Bronco is nearly over.

Ford Motor Co. plans to introduce the off-road SUV next month, dealers were told at the brand's annual make meeting at the NADA Show here. The introduction of a smaller off-road crossover, called the Bronco Sport, will follow in April, likely at the New York auto show.

We're hoping that the Bronco and the Bronco Sport will be the sales hits that the disastrous new Explorer and Escape designs are not.

Can't wait. Though the idea of intro'ing 2 different sized Broncos seems like a horrible idea to me.

Bronco is being marketed as a sub-brand. The C2 CX430 sport utility was originally a mini Explorer (you can see) in 2015, until a theme shift in early 2018.

It was nicknamed Gen Y utility from early development. Production was actually due to begin last December, but was delayed 8 months thanks to changes

Ideally, I had hoped the T3 would spawn a fullsize Bronco Max (Expedition offshoot), but it is so redundant in being too expensive and limited manufacturing capacity.

It's not on deck, but has been studied.

"Bronco is being marketed as a sub-brand." Not exactly.

Haha, I said this elsewhere (B6G), but I didn't say it here deliberately. It will debut at the CBs HQ (decipher that), private event.

What you do you have to say Mr. D? Get ahead of things before I do, so that I have little to say. Or perhaps you are respecting NDAs, which I can understand.

There's more coming tomorrow, per my own privately forwarded insight.

"Privately forwarded insight" that's a rather unromantic way of describing your bedtime activities with the manthing.

If the Bronco looks like that green one in the picture, I'm in. Make sure the quality is there !!!

Like where the Bronco is headed, but really should be electric. Any new ICE vehicle is already obsolete.
