Now that I’ve enjoyed two days driving a pre-production C8 Corvette Z51, I am still smitten with the car. Slapping down a few dollars to secure my place in the order line two years ago was one of my more brilliant car-purchase moves.

Having seen it in person, I absolutely find it ugly and misshapen. I will hold onto my C7 which is magnificent by comparison.

I predict it will sell well to early adopters and then it will tank.

Those are subjective meaningless complaints. I would rather have the C8 with an even bigger wing, one like the racecar. I do like the interior and I do like the steering wheel. Recent Vettes have all had horrible blind spots due to the C pillar. At least the C8 has a blind spot monitor which makes a huge difference.

It looks great from the front, but the back end is not so good. It will still sell well because it is an amazing value for the price. The rear visibility should be fine....it has a digital rear view mirror, maybe that was turned off when this guy reviewed the car.
