Volkswagen's latest reveals ahead of the 2020 Geneva Motor Show have one thing in common: features lifted straight from VW's corporate cousin Porsche. As a result, we thought we’d ask the masses—What should VW raid from the Porsche parts bin next? 

The new Europe-only Volkswagen Touareg R took the most from Porsche, taking the engine and plug-in hybrid system from the $81,000 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid. The performance numbers are the exact same as the Porsche, too—a combined 455 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Just like the Porsche, it also tows 7,700 pounds.

And Pontiac as well. Pretty soon all GM vehicles had the same engines, all from Chevrolet.

And platforms... with the exception of Alpha II nothing is exclusive to Caddy not that the brilliant mindless running the company has killed the Omega platform. GM is pathetic..

Up until the 1970s each division of GM designed and built its own V8 engines. Olds built its brand identity on Rocket V8's. In 1977 Olds ran short of 350 cu.in. V8s and and substituted Chevy 350s but didn't tell its customers who bought those cars. A judge ordered that Olds to pay restitution to them for that.

VW does not need more expensive cars that overlap with Audi. It needs a LOT more low priced cars of impeccable quality and reliability
