BEHOLD: Graveyard Carz Restores An Ultra Rare 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible
Graveyard Carz is an automotive reality television show appearing on the Motortrend channel. They've been doing it for about 10 seasons now and the show is quite popular with a raucous band of misfits including company head Mark Worman, Allysa Rose, Royal Yoakum, Will Scott, Dave Rea, and others. The show charts the trials and travails of the Springfield, Oregon shop that specializes in the restoration of Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth muscle cars, one-offs and special editions.

I remember that Dodge Coronet. We used to call it the 'barge' becuase is was impossibly large and weighed as much as 1 1/2 cars. Even with the Hemi or the 440, it could never get out of its own way. It was a major lead sled.

I call BS. The 440 and the 426 in the B bodies are neck snappers. It weighted 3110 pounds and hardly a lead sled.

I had a 1966 Coronet 2 door sedan my senior year (1972) of high school. It was a stripped version with rubber mats instead of carpets. The VIN showed that it came with a Hemi, but when I got it there was a 383 under the hood. But that car was so light (for what it was) I could still pull the front wheels off the ground.

I can't wait to get my hands on the new Interceptor with its 440. I love the 440. The 426 is fun but the 440 is a sheer delight.
