Bentley Delays New EV Until 2025 - Waiting On Battery Advances

Bentley has an ambitious plan to electrify its entire lineup by 2023 - but that doesn’t mean the British exotic car manufacturer will rush into launching its first zero-emission model soon. And that’s not just because there’s no demand for a Bentley EV but because the company wants to wait until the battery tech improves.

“We will launch our first battery-electric vehicle in the middle of the 2020s because we anticipate in five years the increase in power density – or the introduction of solid-state batteries – will allow a 30 percent-plus improvement in performance.”

If it is electric why is such a big ass grille even needed when you dont need the capacity to cool a ice engine? This is putrid looking

I think it is like the boat story you told us about. You don't get the design because it is not meant for you. The very wealthy want a nice car to drive but also send a clear message at the same time. This is special and I am special because I own it.

It doesn't need a grill at all, but like CC said something garish is needed to show how cool and rich you are on these types of cars.

When VWAG creates a new platform but can only manage 2/3 the range of a Tesla, then more garbage is not better.

Seen from the side, the car would be better looking if the nose were the tail and the tail were the nose.
