German Porsche EV Sales Closing In On 25% Of Total Volume

This year, plug-in electric cars are expected to capture a significant part of Porsche sales in its home market - Germany, which is also quickly expanding in general.

According to registration data, plug-ins already were responsible for almost a quarter of all new Porsches sold:

  • January: 485 plug-ins (167 BEVs and 318 PHEVs) - 24.1% out of total 2,012
  • February: 394 plug-ins (195 BEVs and 199 PHEVs) - 22.7% out of total 1,734

After two months, it's 879 new plug-in registrations or 23.5% of the total.

It's a good shot as it shows it is a smaller car than the Panamera. I guess they will do a BEV version of it at some point? Good BEV cars sell. And this is an example as are others.
