I have a co-worker who has to buy a car now because his old car finally gave up. The dealers around here are still the normal pricks as usual - he has been trying to communicate via phone and email - they barely talk to him and only tell him to come in to the dealer so they can write up a deal - they won't give numbers over the phone or email...I expected them to bend over backwards to get him in a car, I was sure wrong

Ha. Most people are searching for toilet paper or food and not a new car.

Me. My Lincoln lease ends very shortly, and I arranged a lease on a new Subaru Legacy Touring XT by email. I’m picking it up Wednesday. The dealership sales department is open, but by individual appointment only.

Nope, not in the market. Still have two years left on my lease. No one in my family is in the market either, regardless of the current climate.

Sold my hot rod truck and bought a 350GTR just a week before all hell broke out. Drove it once and now in garage and likely to be there for quite some time. In complete lock down in NY. One week later and would not have pulled trigger on purchase.

The 0% for 84 months is working quite nicely.

Really? If you need an 84 month car loan maybe you should reconsider the purchase you are making.

I 10,000% agree, but Ford is throwing money away.

You are @pugproud

I have regularly said that I am not for pushing long term loans when someone is wanting to buy but can't afford 60 months, but that's from the dealer. If the manufacturer puts it out in national advertising and people walk in wanting it, that's entirely different. I have no control over that.

You on the other hand spew bullshit about caring about the little people--when you most decidedly don't--so maybe you and that other hypocrite who pretends to care about the unwashed masses--AlzheimersTommy--need to move in together.

FU, you don't know me and think you know it all. You are one arrogant SOB. Whatever happened in your childhood to make you into the person you are?

@pugproud Based on what you've said, I know you're a hypocrite--and that you've done several time. I'm outspoken not arrogant, but you probably aren't well enough educated to know the difference. The reason you are so volcanic with rage is that my comments scored a direct hit so (1) either you see words on the screen as real people (seek a therapist for that) and/or (2) my assessment is completely accurate. #dismissed

Ignore anything MAtt says - after all he is a used car salesman - and we all know - that they are the trusted people in the world - and certainly Matt ranks at the head of that pack too.

I have found it is better to ignore him - I find that the old saying is true
I can only be hurt by a person who's opinion I values - and HIS is worthless.

I do not even know why people come to Autospies anymore - it seems that Matt manages to drive most people away - so that they are down to only a few who actually post.

He should have been banned long ago.

Was that supposed to hurt my feelings and make me go "OMG! The light went on!! I was wrong!!!"? #EpicFail Because I'm right and nailed you to the cross three times. Give up or have an aneurysm. It make no difference to me.
