What Car Related Things Are You Going Buy With Your Stimulus Check?
With a record-breaking $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package clearing Washington and checks for up to $1,200 going out to every American adult, there's about to be some serious liquidity pouring into the American economy. Mind you, a lot of it will go toward bailing out tax-dodging corporations (including cruise lines) instead of hardworking Americans, many of whom need help keeping their children fed and lights on due to job furloughs, unsympathetic landlords, and student loan officers.

Not everyone should get one. If you are still getting your full paycheck (i.e. government workers), you do not need extra stimulus. If anything, you are saving money right now not buying fuel, going out, etc... This should be for those completely out of work to pay for food, medication, etc..

Yeah, I won't be getting the check either. Pretty sure more than half of Silicon Valley is making over $75k, thanks Trump. (I shouldn't complain, happy to have a job I can do remotely and still get a normal paycheck).

It's my and your money anyway. It's not the government's money. I want my money back and I promise to spend it and stimulate the economy.

Automotive enthusiasm is an expensive hobby and from what I can tell, the majority of us are not going to qualify for such a thing. This is a dumb question.

Even so, anyone not in favor of "socialism" really should not be accepting money from the government. It goes against "Republican" principles.

To get the money you pretty much have to be a suck boy on welfare.

And to the author, that is one beautiful picture and wonderful example of American greatness in some things automotive.

A C7 Z06 7MT would've been a great vehicle to own, but now no longer possible (I only buy new). Goes so well with a Raptor (currently DD 2019 Raptor SCW 802A).

Our American brands tried at least to make some desirable vehicles in the 2010s and no one can ever deny that.

The muscle niches (on & offroad) and luxurious land yachts, are just where the heart of American engineering belongs.

You'd probably love the Seville we are working on now with a fuel-injected LS7 under the hood. Gorgeous car.

Nah, too malaise era or FWD for my taste. Fleetwood B. or Brougham is more passable to me.

LOL You should come drive it when it's done. We also updated the transmission. Because that Seville was largely a Nova--RWD--we're throwing on some 9C1 parts or exceeding them. The nose will be lowered an inch and the rear suspension radically improved.
