What's The Most CRIMINAL Thing You've Seen Happen To A SUPERCAR?
When it comes down to it, supercars are just the same as regular ones. Sure, they're faster and more exotic — no one's questioning that.

But they get driven, parked, crashed and ticketed just the same as an entry-level vehicle.

With smartphones now the norm and cameras filming 24/7, we've seen our fair share of horror shows. Usually it involves poor driving and an end result that we wish we didn't see. Other times the situation turns tragic, which we never want to see.

And other times, it's something we just can't help but laugh at. Take, for example, this Ferrari 599 GTO that's parked on a London street. Yes, you're seeing that correctly: It's got a boot.

Having said that, seeing this picture got my wheels turning. So, I've got to wonder: What's the most CRIMINAL thing you've seen happen to a SUPERCAR?

Scuderia shields on the fenders. Like we didn't know what the car is?

Haha! Great answer.

To me they should only be present on Ferraris that have raced as was the original intention. Now they're basically on every car leaving the factory.

SMH.

@MD- I am surprised nobody is complaining about the numberless white circles on the hood and door. Mansory is a travesty at the best of times, this is historical, period correct livery. As well if you are going to go for the white number spot option, pick a number so it looks right.

My buddy who owns a bike shop has a large snipper that can cut a lock like that. Sadly there is likely a fine for that. So no helping yourself out of the boot. That GTO may not have raced but it is pretty close to a race car for the road. The Roma should never be allowed to wear a Scuderia Ferrari racing team shield, but it's ok on the GTO.

What am I looking at? Is that for-crap yellow stripe across the hood part of the boot?

@CL - Silver with a yellow stripe is a historical livery for a Ferrari. Yellow was the original colour for Scuderia Ferrari before a ruling that Italian cars had to be read, British green and French blue.

Yellow is the color of Modena. The assignment of international racing colors happened decades before Ferrari built the Auto Avios, before Enzo formed the Scuderia for Alfa Romeo racing cars. In fact Italy’s original racing color was Black, Red was assigned to the USA.

Back in the 1980's I saw a teenager whose father owned a local bank in the Baltimore, MD area. This teen was abusing this expensive car like it was a piece of sh!t. Several weeks later the bank was over taken by the feds for fraud by the owners. The owners went to jail. All expensive toys were gone.

There has been a lot of impropriety locally. Google Lords of Bakersfield. My father was one of the drugged-out, toy boys that got all sorts of monetary favors. More than a few expensive cars bit the dust in the hands of teenagers then.

That is quite the story. I am surprised nobody has made it into a movie.

Thankfully my dad is clean and sober and his HIV is undetectable, so he made it out alive, but he's only had his life together for maybe 6-7 years. The stories he can tell are hair raising.

So your Dad, both your brothers are gay and you are bi? Either you lived downstream from a refinery/nuke plant or on top of a pipeline to affect your DNA or Im calling bullshit. Statistically impossible. I come from a large family and have over 60 first and second cousins just on my Moms side alone with only 1 gay cuz as the rest are married or partnered up. That is statistically improbable in the other direction I'm sure for arguments sake as I have lots of gay/lez friends and neighbours. Legal disclaimer: No refineries/nukes or pipelines under my family or around us...

That's your hatred and bigotry taking. I chew up and spit out trash like you.

Gayness is believed to be genetic, therefore it would tend to run in families.

Where do you get bi from? Just thought you'd tuck that in unnoticed?

As for me, I very nearly graduated #1 in class. I finished by bachelors in 3 years, tore through my Masters in 2, and had my PhD in hand under 3. The car thing interrupted what was my plan, but I'm easily making more than double of what I would have made.

You think you're hurting me by saying my DNA comes from detritus, but let's sat that's true. In my short time, I've completely eclipsed you on multiple parameters of success.

This is great. I come here to see a picture of an actual Subaru XT and end up getting this cool soap opera stuff for free.

I do have a serious question though:

Darringer you said your son is going to Standford (which is terrific and congrats on that), and also mentioned that you were born in the mid 1980s which would make you ~35 now. So did you have him super young? None of my business, just curious.

Again spare me your bullshit bullshitter. You claimed to be bi and frequent truck stops so I do hope for your wife's health that she is on prep but I guess you don't remember all your lies in your little fantasy world or is it multiple personalities??? Yup you are more edumacated than me with your alphabet soup. Feel gooder now big man? There I even upvoted your post -I'm so thoughtful!

You married your wealth by your own admissions and don't know jack shit about me so go back to selling extended warranties and fabric protection. Funny how the biggest hater and bigot here gets so provoked. Triggered much Kia clown?
