OUCH! 2020 Corvette Taken Out By A Drunk Driver One Day After Delivery
You may have seen stories of people waiting in line for hours to get the newest iPhone, only to open the box and drop the phone as soon as they walk out of the store. This is kind of the same thing, only the iPhone is a one-day-old Chevy Corvette C8 and the guy dropping it is actually the victim of a drunk driver's misjudgments.

Facebook user June Bug took delivery of his shiny new Sebring Orange C8 on April 2 in Bradenton, Florida, but the Z51 Performance Pack 'Vette was destined for a short life. It had only been in its owner's possession for 26 hours when it met its doom at the hands of a suspected drunk driver.

I'm OK with drunk drivers being beaten to death. I don't want to understand their pain and help them to recovery. There is no reason to drink and drive.

I totally agree, no reason at all to drink and drive. I wonder if changing the limit from 0.08 to 0.0 would help deter this type of behavior or exacerbate these type of events?

I'd introduce a new type of blow job to bars and restaurants that serve alcohol. If you order a drink, you surrender your keys and have to blow before you go.

Blow and go? -You are obsessed!

Better yet anyone caught should be forced to use a hot pink licence plate for 5 years after the first initial suspension of at least 1 year. This would provide much needed douchebaggery Scarlet Letter shaming from the public and be an open invite for 5.0 to watch your ass and extra scrutiny for more impairment. Secondary offences should result in a lifetime ban and hard jail time.

You have ZERO sense of humor.

ALL of the data shows that stiffer penalties DO NOT curb drinking and driving.

My solution would work. Yours WON'T because it's already proven to be faulty.

Oh well he's rich just buy another one. Then after 2 years he will get bored with it then buy something else that will temporarily satisfy him until he gets bored and want to buy something else. Get real money doesnt buy happiness

So, to recap, you're saying that because the Corvette owner is "rich" it is ok for drunk drivers to roam the roads.
