Michigan Residents Plan Vehicular Protest Over Strict Stay At Home Orders
Residents in Michigan are not happy with the strict stay at home orders put in place by Governor Gretchen Whitmer and are planning to take to the streets in protest. Instead of marching through the state capital, the protesters will remain in their cars as they drive past the statehouse in Lansing.

The vehicular protest is being organized by Meshawn Maddock, who told ABC News she feels Whitmer has gone too far with the draconian orders which ban people from traveling between two residences, force stores to rope off sections that sell "non-essential" items and place strict limits on the number of people who can be inside a store at any given time. People who violate the orders can be hit with fines up to $1,000.

If the current state of 'Voluntary Incarceration' continues past May 1st, expect massive civil disobedience. Just a hunch.

"ban people from traveling between two residences"
Wow, not even California put that measure in place. That is nuts.

This protest needs to happen. The COVIDiots have gone wild subjugating people the the Chicken Little sheeple are believing it.

I wish California had the spine and the balls to protest Governor Wiggledick who really needs to stop governing and get back to his numerous sexual peccadillos.

I hope there are mass protests.

The latest run of the official COVID forecast model is predicting a grand total of 1,483 deaths (base case) in CA. That is less deaths than in 2 normal days of the year! In a state with 39 million people! Even the worst case scenario is 3k deaths.

In a normal year in CA, 122,000 people die of cancer and heart disease per CDC statistics (82x more than Covid projections).

Statistically you are more likely to die by homicide in CA (per the CDC) than COVID-19.

The Germans have a virus-protection camp where people can go to for protection and care. It's near a town called Oswiecim.

I’m a bit confused, to prevent the spread of the virus the Governors wants to isolate and confine people to their place of residence out if the public.

Ok I get that, however then why at the same time does it want to release people that are already isolated and confined in their place of residence into the public by releasing convicts?

greGARYous1, do you think people shouldn't be able to decide on their own health and safety?

Maybe we should ban all fast foods, alcohol, smoking, and junk food. And make everyone run on the treadmill for an hour a day. Mandate that everyone maintain 6-pack abs at all times. And stay home forever since if people go outside they could get hurt.

How about letting people make their own choices? If people want to stay home fine. If people want to go out, fine. Live free or die!

@supermoto 'Maybe we should ban all fast foods, alcohol, smoking, and junk food.'
Don't worry the leftist control freaks will get around to that.

It just seems that the Democrat Governors want to decree their own version of the Cocteau Plan.

Michigan is a swing state and most of the red states have similar restrictions as the blue state. I don't think this is a political thing.

Has nothing to do with being a “Swing” State. It’s the party affiliations of the Executive that is dictating the policy.

@SJD It is most decidedly a political thing. The Democrats are trying to turn America into Venezuela because they are still ass hurt that Hillary lost even after they worked so hard to rig the election. They tried to illegally gain the White House in 2016 and they are being even more brazen in 2020. The lock down is NOT having any real effect other than bankrupting people. The "flattening the curve" nonsense is bullshit because it's a mathematical/statistical approach to a medical/scientific issue. Hospitals are ghost towns across the USA. People are seeing this for what it is: a dry run at removing people rights and the are rightfully seeing the Democrats as the party that hates freedom. I applaud Michigan.
