It’s been a long month and change for most Americans, and by no means is anyone out of the woods, either employment-wise or health-wise. Same goes for new vehicle sales, which remain depressed after falling off a cliff in late March.

The difference now is that sales are rising.

Agreed...The real crisis was 6 weeks ago when it was uncertain that the US will have enough ventilators and ICU beds for the 'sickest of the sick'.

Now that there is a better handle on the direction of cases (a lot but apparently not enough to overwhelm the stock of ventilators and ICU beds) people are intelligently starting to ask "exactly WHAT science" is behind the politicians (i.e. non-scientists) demands to close the economy).

We are in a realm of ..."yeah, stay home just to be safe/sure"...but that is increasingly not based in any facts (now that the POTENTIAL REAL ventilator/ICU shortage is under control).

If money-wasting liberals were able to hold onto a large share of voters before, they run the risk of becoming misanthrope's and losing the confidence of the electorate.

In NYC, people (even liberals) have had it with Bill DeBlasio's bullsh*t and hypocrisy. He continued to drive to Brooklyn (where he used to live) to use his favorite gym there as the crisis was accelerating. Regions run by dimwitted and tone deaf politicians will pay the price come election day.

The liberals carrying on is increasingly going to make Trumpinator's re-election all but assured.

I don't get to golf as much anymore, but when I was a teenager, my "grandfather" Edward his his buddy would "go golfing", but I played the role of Edward and my buddy Shane played the role of the crony. The old guys would sit on the gold cart, bitch, tell obscene jokes, get shit-faced drunk, and then claim our scores as theirs. We of course were the designated drivers.
