Which Vehicles And Companies Are Making The BEST Interiors RIGHT NOW?
We live in a world where looks matter. Especially, when it comes to the vehicles we drive. And although it's the exterior of a car or truck that grabs us in the beginning, many people make that final buying decision based on the interior.

Data shows that's even MORE important to female buyers. And one of the reasons companies like Lexus and Audi's sales took off. They did their homework better than many and saw how important design and material quality mattered in the interior.

But many have caught and and some have surpassed them.

So what we'd like to know is which interiors are the best in the biz right now? And not just on expensive, luxury products. Give us your choices across the board.

Benz, their interiors alone win deals over the competition and have become one of the brand's strongest selling points

From a distance, they look good. But when you look closer, low quality plastic is abound. Plus their tech and user interface are way behind.

Audi quality, materials, and tech are still up front, but some recent interior designs are starting to get a bit off.

The new Ram interior -all I can say is wow. Only thing missing is the soft, luxurious Corinthian leather!

Audi, MB and Taycan interior is gorgeous. From a mass market standpoint, Kia has gotten much better.

Ford's interiors aren't terrible in terms of layout or appearance, but two things--if remedied--would make them more palatable. The first is the iPad duct-taped onto the dashboard that looks like an afterthought. In the Escape you get the feeling that it was an afterthought because the start button in hidden on the side of the center stack at an odd angle. Then there is the quality of the materials. Low-grade plastic is far too abundant.

I actually find a lot of brands' interiors disappointing. There are very few that actually really get me feeling anything.

Benz interiors do that for me. It feels like an occasion even in the oldest C-Class cars, sedans and SUVs. The new GLE/GLS interiors are really just incredible in any color combo. And the E/S Class sedan interiors are great. The only Benz interior not doing it for me is the G-Wagen.

Range Rover interiors are very nicely done, though having some ergonomic challenges. I was really impressed with the Defender, especially considering its mission as a dirt baller.

For non-premium brands, I can only cite specific models due to inconsistencies across lineups. The new Sonata's interior is well done, albeit a clone of the G70. The Telluride's interior is nice for a non-prem, if a bit understated. Mazda's interiors are very well done, but feel claustrophobic. The Honda Accord and Civic interiors are two of my favorites in the non-premium segment.
