CAR WARS! WHICH Looks BETTER? 2020 Lexus RX Or New 2021 Toyota VENZA?

Yesterday, Toyota announced the 2021 Sienna and 2021 Venza models. On first glance much better designs than the ones they replaced.

But I couldn't help but think when my eyes saw the 2021 Venza for the first time that it looked more LEXUS than Toyota. And MAYBE even BETTER looking than say the 2020 Lexus RX.

So I thought I would throw this out to all of you and start this CAR WAR.

Yep. Venza. I hate the fake floating roof trend. I hope it dies a quick death. I suspect this Toyota will feel 9/10's a Lexus in the top trim. A great buy for people who like style on a budget.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how anyone drives the RX off the lot proud that they have a good looking car. I guess they really just don’t care, and are bought into the reliability perception.

This is like the Civic vs. the Insight. One is much cleaner and one is edgy. The Venza borders on overly inoffensive and bland. The Lexus is garish and gimmicky. So neither is a winner to me.

The Venza and I hope this trend continues. Lexus makes some great cars but in my line of work I rather be seen driving a humble Toyota than a luxurious Lexus even if they both cost the same.

Venza is closer to the previous RX edition. Lexus created this category and 2is the standard everyone copies, so why not Toyota.
