Williams Formula 1 Team Goes Up For Sale

These past few years haven’t been all too kind with Williams F1, as the team finished the 2019 Formula One season dead last in the Constructors’ standings, following a disappointing season the year before.

There is now added financial pressure on the team, spearheaded by their shocking break-up with title sponsor Rokit and their major sponsor Rok Drinks. Now, after posting a £13 million ($16 million) loss in 2019, the Williams F1 Team is up for grabs.

I enjoy the F1 races but does it really generate sales on a cost effective basis
and who is going to step up (even at a bargain price) to have the right to throw mega money trying to catch the three top teams ?

Geely. They can become a LOTUS F1 works team. Handy too as Williams is based in England. They just need to come up with an engine of their own. Or use a Cosworth or something until one is ready.

Correct it probably would be a smart For Geely. Brand it as a Williams Lotus with main sponsor as Polestar. The biggest problem they have is the coming backlash against the CCP and all things controlled by them.
