Not best selling electric car, near-luxury car, sedan, or even car... the Model 3 was the best selling vehicle, period, in Q1. That includes SUVs and Trucks.

This "the Model 3 was the best selling vehicle, period, in Q1" is not even remotely accurate.

Best selling passenger car. That is accurate.

If not, please provide proof.

You won't because you can't.

"In California" might be where we are misaligned. My comment is for CA specifically. Here is the evidence: https://www.cncda.org/wp-content/uploads/Cal-Covering-2020-Q1-Combined.pdf

It sold 50% more than a Ford F-series, and more than the RAV4 which is CA's best-selling SUV. It outsold any other California vehicle in Q1, period. It also outsold all of the other vehicles in it's category... combined. It had a 52% share of that sector.

Does California still provide incentives for purchases?

Yes, but it is down to $2,000 and only if you make less than $150k a year.

Where's the Stinger on this list? Doing pretty well, I bet. Probably Kia just needs to run some better ads like Tesla does.
